As resumption is looming ahead, the EFA (Egyptian Football Association) has announced this Wednesday 6 positive cases of coronavirus. This is resulting from the  first series of tests carried out.

According to the information, these cases come from 4 clubs of the championship. Smouha SC, ENPPI SC, Ittihad Alexandria and Al Mokawlooon Al Arab. On suspension since March, the football championship is about to resume to complete the 2019-2020 season.

Several clubs rejected this resumption, including Zamalek.
