Bundesliga Official : Achraf Hakimi will depart from Dortmund at season end

It’s now official! Achraf Hakimi will not be staying in Dortmund next season. Wishing to keep the Moroccan side that has been loaned to him two seasons by Real Madrid, the Yellow and Black said on Saturday that the 21-year-old will leave them at the end of June.

“The asking price has gone up again. We don’t want to, we can’t keep it, “said Borussia sports director Michael Zorc.

According to the specialized website Transfermarkt, the market value of Achraf Hakimi increased from 5 million to 54 million euros during his stay in Dortmund. A sum too high for the German club which eagerly did not want to separate from the Moroccan.

Become indisputable holder in the Ruhr as a lane player this season, Hakimi has notably scored two doubles in the group stage of the Champions League, including one against Inter.
