On Tuesday, the Ghanaian Football Association decided to cancel its season. It nevertheless took care of naming the country’s representatives for the CAF cups.

Asante Kotoko and Ashgold SC will have the honour of defending Ghana’s colours on the continent during the 2020-2021 season. The two Kumasi clubs will be respectively in the Champions League and the Confederation Cup.

In addition, on 9 July, the Executive Committee announced a meeting to decide on the next season.

Suspended since March, the football 2019-2020 season in Ghana was finally cancelled.
