Yacine Bammou has returned to Normandy. The Caen striker made a gentle recovery with jogging away from the session accompanied by a physiotherapist.

The Moroccan international officially completed his loan to Alanyaspor on Tuesday. However, he has not participated in the last three meetings of his team in Süper Lig, the Turkish first division.

The purchase option for it has not been exercised. He had been loaned last season by SM Caen to Alanyasport in Turkey after a first year of contract in Red and Blue in Ligue 1 the relegation season.

Under contract until 2022, the club says the two sides would not be against a departure in mutual interest. In the meantime, Yacine Bammou will have to catch up in terms of preparation with a group from Caen who resumed training on Monday, June 22. The player had finished earlier in Turkey but SM Caen did not want to take the slightest contractual risk.

The striker, who is among the biggest salaries at Stade Malherbe Caen after being bought 2.7 million euros in Nantes in 2018, has played 18 league matches in Turkey. Holder only six times, he scored two goals.

Yacine Bammou was the author of a very disappointing season the year of the descent in Ligue 2. A departure is no less hoped for. “If he has an opportunity, we will listen,” said sports director Yohan Eudeline when he resumed training.
