Egyptian Premier League giants Al Ahly announce the contract extension of Pharaohs shot-stopper Mohamed El Shenawy. He now linked with Red Devils till 2025.
Arrived in the club in 2018, El Shenawy became the first choice goalkeeper of Red Devils. He made 16 EPL appearances under René Weiler this season.
The 31-year-old also played 10 CAF Champiopns League games. Whereas he appeard once in Egyptian Super Cup. A total of 27 appearances which gain him confidence from Al Ahly officials.

“Mohamed El Shenawy has extended his contract with us for 5 more years” the Egyptian most decorated club (88 trophies) wrote on Twitter.
René Weiler could count on him for their CAF Champions League semi-final clash against Wydad Casablanca.
Last season, El Shenawy capitulated 33 appearances across all competitions in the club of Mahmoud El Khatib (chairman).
