Africa GFA Executive Council : Meeting to decide on next season pushed forward

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has rescheduled its meeting to Tuesday, July 14, 2020. A meeting that was to discuss the way forward for Ghana football.

After the cancellation of the season due to the Coronavirus, the governing body decided to organize a meeting on Thursday. But this Executive Committee meeting will no longer take place. The Federation made it known yesterday on its official website.

The Executive Board of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has postponed its next meeting to Tuesday, July 14, 2020. The meeting will be by video conference. The body was supposed to meet on Thursday, July 9, 2020 to make decisions on the Congress and plans for a new 2020-21 season,” it reads.

As a reminder, sports activities suspension in Ghana is still in force until July 31. This is to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
