Top News UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final, Semi-Final Draws Made

The draw for the remainder of the UEFA Champions League has been made on Friday morning at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland. 


The competition was suspended with half of the Round of 16 ties completed and half with only the first leg played. 


UEFA announced on Thursday that the second leg can go ahead behind closed doors with the date either 7 or 8 August.

Once the remaining round of 16 ties are concluded, the rest of the competition will be played out as a final-eight straight knockout tournament over an 11-day period in Lisbon, Portugal, from 12 to 23 August. 


Africa Top Sports monitored the draws for the Quarter-finals and semi-finals which will be played as single-leg ties.


The second leg game between Manchester City and Real Madrid will be played at the Etihad Stadium.


2012 champions, Chelsea will fave a herculean task when they travel to Germany to play Bayern Munich in the second leg.


The Blues suffered a 3-0 loss at Stamford Bridge to the Bavarians in February.

Quarter-final draw:


Real Madrid or Manchester City vs Lyon or Juventus


RB Leipzig vs Atletico Madrid


Napoli or Barcelona vs Chelsea or Bayern Munich


Atalanta or Paris St-Germain

The semi-final draw is:


Winner of quarter-final 1 vs Winner of quarter-final 3


Winner of quarter-final 2 vs Winner of quarter-final 4
