Former Mali and Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute says he would like to see Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in La Liga.

During a conference with La Liga legends, Kanoute praises qualities of Salah and Mane. Saying in case they move to Spanish top-flight, they could only sign for Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Indeed, both of them have been linked in last transfer windows with a move to these La Liga giants.

“Mane and Salah are great players and I think if they move to Spain they could only sign for Real Madrid or Barcelona,” Kanoute said.

Despite the fact that Sevilla will not be able to enlist these fantastic African players, the 42-year-old wishes they could join Spanish first tier.

“I would love to see them in the Spanish league even though they’re not going to be playing for my team [Sevilla]. I don’t know if the will happen but they’re amazing players and would benefit La Liga,” he added.

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane won this season Premier League title with Liverpool. The Egyptian is in the race for PL top scorers with his 19 goals.
