Ghanaian Players abroad Ajax Amsterdam welcome newly signing Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus is officially an Ajax Amsterdam player since Wednesday. The Dutch club then welcome versatile Ghanaian to the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Ajax succeed to enlist Kudus with an amount in the region of €9M. The 19-year-old forward pens a 5-year deal with Eredivisie champions from Nordsjaelland.

“Ajax has reached an agreement with Mohammed Kudus and FC Nordsjaelland about the transfer of the Ghanaian to Amsterdam,” Ajax wrote on their official website.

“The multifunctional midfielder / attacker will sign a contract that will take effect immediately and has a term of 5 years, until June 30, 2025.”

Kudus’ versatility will do good for De Godenzonen. As the Accra-born is able to play as a defensive, central or attacking midfielder. He can also play as a right winger or a centre-forward. He is then another attacker solution for Erik Ten Hag’s tactical systems.

In addition, Mohammed Kudus will wear the number 20.
