Ex-Dutch player George Boateng says signing Mohammed Kudus following the move to Chelsea of Hakim Ziyech, is a good choice made by Ajax officials.

Speaking to City TV, Boateng hails the immense potential of Kudus. Giving credits to Ajax deciders for this choice.

“The reason why Holland and Ajax is bringing him in this way is because they can see what I have seen,” Boateng said.

“He has got such a huge potential. What a talent to have among the squad,” he added .

Moreover, ex-Ajax defensive midfielder says Ghanaian rising star is going to be the new Ziyech for Eredivisie giants.

“With Ziyech being sold to Chelsea they were looking for someone similar to that and found Mohammed Kudus and that says a lot.” Aston Villa youth coach concluded.

It’s worth mentionning that Mohammed Kudus joined Ajax Amsterdam from Nordsjaelland in a five-year contract that cost €9M.
