Africa Othniel Dossevi : The Togolese into the PSG’s record books

For the younger generation, if PSG exists today, it is partly thanks to him as one of club’s pioneer players. Othniel Dossevi, former Togolese international, is the club’s first African player.

Before the summer third pre-season game of the French club against Celtic, Dossevi, gray hair because his old age, was applauded by the 5000 spectators allowed to attend the game. He gave fictitious kick-off of the encounter.

Uncle of Thomas Dossevi and Mathieu Dossevi, Othniel (73 years old) also was under the colors of Togo. He was also the first PSG scorer at the Parc des princes, the club’s venue in 1973.

Neymar and teammates paid him a nice tribute by beating the Scots on the score of 4-0.
