Africa Qualifying 2021 AFCON U20 : Togo applying to host playoffs

Togo, through its football federation, has applied to host the WAFU B qualifying tournament for the AFCON U20.

This is what the organization announced this Wednesday on its Twitter account. The tournament is scheduled to take place in November and will qualify for the AFCON U20. Mauritania will host the final phase.

In addition, this candidacy has yet to be confirmed.
Burkina Faso was supposed to host the tournament, but the country withdrew early July. Due to coronavirus, the country does not expect to host international events until 2021.

WAFU Zone B counts 7 countries make (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger, Nigeria, Togo).
