We know the start date of the next football season in DR Congo, after a 2019-2020 season which did not go to an end due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Meeting this week, the leaders of the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs have chosen September 19 for the launch of the championship.

 “The representatives of the clubs have agreed on a date, which will be communicated to Linafoot by the federal authorities. It has been agreed that the two championships resume five weeks after August 15th. This date must allow the clubs to stagger their preparation schedule according to the rules of the art. It will probably be Saturday, September 19, 2020 while hoping that the pandemic does not interfere again ”,  can we read on the official website of TP Mazembe.

The players and the clubs are therefore fixed.
