Premier League Leicester – Man Utd : conditions for Iheanacho, Ndidi to secure UCL ticket

Ndidi Iheanacho

Nigerians Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfried Ndidi will play their last 2019/20 Premier League game on Sunday as Leicester face Manchester United in a crucial game for Champions League race.

Leicester are currently 5th on PL table with 62 points. That is one point clear of Chelsea, 4th with 63 and Man Utd, 3rd with 63 also. However the goal differential will be an important factor for the Foxes. As they have +28 while Blues have just 13.

Meanwhile Red Devils have also +28. So here are conditions for Leicester to secure their champions league ticket.

First, they must defeat Ighalo and Man Utd (3PM at King Power Stadium) then they will rank 3rd on the table with 65 points. However in case they draw, United will take hold of the 3rd place and if Chelsea win to Wolves, they could back into Europa League.

Secondly, if they win and Chelsea also win against Wolverhampton, they will rank 4th on PL standings. So they can get the last UCL ticket.
