Nigerian Players abroad Ighalo Happy To See Man United Pick Champions League Ticket

forward Odion Ighalo says he is proud to be a Manchester United player after the club qualified to next season UEFA Champions League.


Manchester United defeated Leicester City 2-0 in a make or mar Premier League last game at the King Power Stadium.


Two second half goals from Bruno Fernandes who scored from the spot and a Jesse Lingard stoppage time goal guaranteed the Red Devils a Champions League ticket as they finished third place on the league table.


Ighalo came in as a substitute in the 90th minute for Anthony Martial.


However, it was unfortunate he couldn’t score a Premier League goal for his boyhood dream club.

Ighalo who is on loan from Shanghai Shenhua despite extending his deal never had a chance to start for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer in the Premier League.


Although he scored four goals for the Red Devils but they are came from the FA Cup and Europa League.


Ighalo took to his Twitter account to express his love for the club.
