Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren replied to friend Mo Salah after Egyptian king sent him an emotional tribute on Monday.

Lovren left Liverpool and good friend Mohamed Salah for Russian side Zenit St Petersburg following Reds 2019/20 Premier League coronation.

However, Croatian departure did not affect any Liverpool players than Salah. As ex-Basel FC player confessed it to LFC TV.

“I don’t want to show too many emotions because I’ve already been crying before the last game. They saw that I felt the emotions,” Lovren told LC TV.

“Especially also leaving Mo, my good friend. It was something special but like I always said, it’s just the beginning of a big friendship, even when we’ll be far apart.” he said on leaving his friend Mo Salah.
