Ghana Black Stars coach CK Akonnor continues grabbing supports from former footballers as ex-Ghana forward Prince Tagoe urges Ghanaians to support him.

Talking to Joy FM, Prince Tagoe confessed he was delighted to hear that Charles Akonnor take over Black Stars job. Praying his discipline and how good he is.

“When I heard about the appointment of CK Akonnor, I was very happy,” Tagoe said.

“I know him personally and I have been to his house several times. He is a disciplined man and playing in Germany is a plus.” he added.

While people believe ex-Hearts of Oak manager will have fear of Black Stars, Tagoe is convinced Akonnor’s playing career will battle for him.

“I don’t think he will be shy of any player because he has played to the highest level and for me, he is the best choice for us a football country.

“I will only urge Ghanaians to offer their support and I know CK Akonnor will succeed,” he concluded.

Prince Tagoe made 36 appearances with Ghana National football team, scoring seven times. He was Black Stars’ 2010 World Cup team in South Africa.
