Last week, Horoya wrote to the CAF suggesting another formula at the end of the Confederation Cup than the Final 4. Especially that the tournament has been moved to Morocco.
But it won’t be the case. This week, the continental body has confirmed the competition for the end of September. In a letter, the CAF has replied to the Guinean club.
“We would like to draw your attention to the fact that your team does not meet a Moroccan team in the semi-finals. But an Egyptian team that is also a visitor.” It reads.
“This therefore presents total fairness for both teams and does not change the CAF neutrality principles.” Continues the post.
Horoya faces Pyramids on 22nd September in Casablanca. The other semi-final opposes Renaissance Berkane to Hassania Agadir in Rabat.
