Inter Allies manager Tony Lokko expresses fear as he discussed 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season start.

Speaking to BBC Africa, Lokko said he and his players are not yet ready for football resumption.

As a reminder, Ghana Premier League has been halted by Covid-19 pandemic. And Ghana FA was compelled to announce league cancellation in July.

As of the upcoming season, it’s scheduled for October 31. However, sanitary measures are yet to be disclosed in order to ensure players’ health. A situation both clubs and players are scared of.

“We are not ready for our football to come back,”  Tony Lokko told BBC Africa.

“I have been communicating with my players and they are also scared, Look at the situation we are all scared of the virus.

“The health materials we are supposed to put in place are not ready and that is the fear of everyone at the moment.” he concluded.
