Ghana Ex-Medeama GK Muntari Tagoe opens up for Ghana Premier league return

Muntari Tagoe

Former Medeama SC shot-stopper Muntari Tagoe says he will be ready to play for a Ghana Premier League club in case there is a good offer.

Talking to TV3, Tagoe did not rule out a return to maiden championship. And as soon as people starts sending him to his former club Medeama SC, he said, it will be a matter of agreement.

“It is an agreement between two parties; they come to me and I go to them, we sit down and negotiate. Any Ghanaian player should not belittle himself because this is the work we do and you have to go all out for it and deliver for the club,” the 28-year-old said.

“Medeama is my home but it is going to depend on what is in the contract. If I am comfortable with it, I will deliver.”

As a reminder, Muntari Tagoe was among a group of Ghanaian players that called on Ghana’s government to return them back in Ghana a month ago. He was a free agent since the end of contract with Ethiopian side Jimma Aba Jifar.

In addition, Tagoe also featured for other clubs the likes of Asante Kotoko (2018/19) and Zambian side Lusaka Dynamos (2017/18).
