Nana Yaw Amponsah, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, has indicated that he will make sure the club plays in the FIFA Club World Cup during his term of office. Champions of top competitions from around the world including winners of the Uefa Champions League participate in the competition every year.

After his confirmation as the CEO of Asante Kotoko on Friday, Nana Yaw Amponsah says the FIFA Club World Cup is one competition he will ensure the club plays in during his stay at the of the club.

“I’m going to make sure Kotoko participates in the FIFA Club World Cup”, the former chairman of Phar Rangers declared.

Lining up with the ambition, Nana Yaw Amponsah will have to guide the Porcupine Warriors club to win the CAF Champions League. It is a competition they play in a lot. But they have failed to perform to the highest level in the last decade.
