Belgian attacker of Ghanaian origins Jeremy Doku netted first league goal as Anderlecht drew 2-2 to Mechelen in the opening of 2020/21 Jupiler Pro League season.

Despite rumors sending him to Newcastle during transfer window, Doku stayed at Anderlecht. A good decision as he is fit in this season debut.

Jeremy Doku, 18, gave his side the lead at the 68th minute on personal effort before an own goal of Mechelen’s Rucky Bushiri to make it 2.

However, Vercauteren team failed to secure their cushion as they conceded two goals. 2-2 was the scoreline.
