Al Ahly

With the intention to reform their training system, Al Ahly appointed a few days ago Michael Prokes new manager as Cairo giants want to level their Academy.

As announced few days ago, Michal Prokes is the new manager of the Cairo National Academy. The purpose of this nomination is to advance young players technically and physically. So that they can validly play at a very high level in the first team.

Al Ahly closely follows the work being done in the Academies of the big clubs in the world. The club now wants to model its training on what is done and allow young players to have a fairly rich training. A decision taken jointly by Amir Tawfik, transfer manager and Khaled Bibo, the head of the youth department.

Al Ahly took the heavy lifting to boost his Academy. Since Michal Prokes is not a novice in the field. He was general manager of the Federation of the Czech Republic by setting up very competitive U17, U19 and U21 teams.

    Assalaamu alaikum / Good morning
    I’m from South Africa.
I have a youngster by the name of Shaheen who is 15 years of age (born April 2005).
I believe this player is different and with the proper development could become very special.

he is currently at Tuks university academy u15 but due to the pandemic football has stopped. you probably have the same challenge.

I am just trying to see if there is an opportunity for him to become Pro somewhere.
    Wassalaams and regards
