Former Cameroonian defender Joel Matip is said to be in the viewfinder of French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Slammed with a foot injury, Matip missed all the last 7 Premier League games of Liverpool. His season has been regularly hinted by injuries as he made just 9 PL appearances last season.

According to reports, the 29-year-old would be the choice of PSG sportive Director Leornado and Parisians Boss Thomas Tuchel. As Thiago Silva is leaving following the end of his contract.
