African players abroad Nassim Hnid : Tunisian defender joins AEK Athenes on a four-year deal

Nassim Hnid

Tunisian international defender Nassim Hnid has left Tunisian top-flight side CS Sfaxien for Super League Greece side AEK Athenes.

Hnid signed a four-year contract with his new team, which he joined for 0.8 million euros. He left CS Sfaxien after five seasons marked by 73 appearances, 3 goals and 1 assist.

AEK Athène will be Nassim Hnid’s first experience abroad. He could have joined Toulouse where his name had been mentioned or even Slavia Prague.

Selected for the last African Cup of Nations (CAN 2019), the now ex-player of CS Sfaxien was this summer in the sights of the Gulf clubs.
