Nigerian Players abroad Musa Assists Help Al Nassr To Away Win Against Al Taawon

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa was in action for his Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr who thrashed Al Taawon 4-1 on Thursday.

Musa did not find the net but he produced two assists to help his team get a vital three points on the road.

The former CSKA Moscow forward set up his teammate Abderrazak Hamdallah who broke the deadlock just five minutes of play.

Again he teed up Nordin Amrabat for the second goal in the 17th minute.

Al Nassr continued their onslaught in the 50th minute through Handallah who scored the third goal for the day.

In the 54th minute, the hosts pulled one back through Heldon.

Musa was replaced by Mukhtar Ali in the 68th minute.

Nine minutes from end of time Hamdallah completed his hat trick from the spot. 

Musa have now provided seven assists in 21 league appearances for his club with one goal.

The victory saw Al Nassr close up the gap on first place Al-Hilal to six points.

Musa and his teammates will play host to Al-Adalah on Tuesday on Matchday 27.
