FIFA charges Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) not to organize another General Assembly as they intended to, in order to elect new Electoral commission.

The local body indicates that it has taken note of FIFA’s recommendations. Thus the extraordinary general meeting scheduled for August 29 is canceled. “ Instead, the convening of an information and consultation meeting of the members of the FIF, on August 29, on the conduct of the electoral process and the incidents that have occurred, ” reads a note.

In addition, the Election Commission is due to meet on August 25 to continue the process. The date of September 5 for the elective General Assembly therefore remains in force.
