Ahmed Adel has been admitted to hospital after he lost consciousness following the conclusion of his team’s game. The Egyptian Premier League game that took place on 26 August opposing his team, Al Masry to FC Masr.

Camera lenses caught Adel in an odd condition after the final whistle of the game between Al Masry and FC Masr, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Adel was one of the Al Masry players that had tested positive for coronavirus a couple of weeks ago, before his latest swab test showed a negative result for him to receive the go ahead to get back to action.

The 23-year-old midfielder came on for Al Masry in the 81th minute. But right after the game he fainted and was admitted to hospital. reported the Portsaid-based club.

He is currently undergoing medical tests and MRIs on his chest and brain, the club clarified.

Adel featured in six league games for Al Masry this season. But he hasn’t scored or assisted any goals.
