The 2019-2020 edition of the Algeria Cup is not expected to run till end. It could be cancelled within the coming days. Suspended last March due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the National Cup should not have a winner this season. According to APS’s intel, the competition is about to be cancelled.

The president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Kheireddine Zetchi would have indicated to the professional clubs that chances of resuming this tournament would be very weak. Hence, they are moving towards a cancellation.

CABB Arreridj, ES Sétif, US Biskra, WA Boufarik, USM Bel-Abbès, Amel Boussaâda, Paradou AC and ASM Oran. Clubs competing for Algeria Cup ongoing, should start over with the next edition.

As a reminder, CR Belouizdad is the defending champion. They defeated JSM Béjaia (2-0) in the final on 8 June 2019.
