Cameroon Cameroon : Tataw Stephen’s Burial Ceremony Took Place Today in Yaoundé

Cameroon says goodbye to Tataw Stephen this weekend. The former player of the Indomitable Lions selection, who died on 31 July following an illness, is buried this Saturday. The funeral started on Friday 28 August in Yaoundé.

Famous Cameroonian football names who played with Tataw in selection have taken part in the ceremonies. They include Roger Milla, Joseph Antoine Bell and François Omam Biyik.

Samuel Eto’o, who recently ended his football career, has also taken part in the funeral. He stands as a personal representative of the President of the African Football Confederation (CAF).

Stephen Tataw won the 1988 African Cup of Nations with Cameroon. He the same participated in the 1990 World Cup with the Indomitable Lions.
