Egyptian Premier League Ahmed Samy appointed manager of Tanta SC

Ahmed Samy

Egyptian Premier League side Tanta SC have reportedly named Ahmed Samy as their head coach following the sacking of Mohamed Salah due to poor results.

Egyptian outlet KingFut reports that Tanta has appointed Ahmed Samy to lead the team for the remaining of the season.

In fact, their former coach Mohamed Salah has been sacked as he won none of the last five games Tanta played. And the club is threatened by relegation as they are currently bottom in the league standings.

So, the new coach will have to help the club in avoiding relegation. As they have just come from the second division a year ago.

In addition, Tanta will take on Al Ittihad Alexandria Club on 3rd September.
