Ivory Coast international Max Alain Gradel has talked about his goals with his new club Sivasspor as he joined the Turkish Super Lig side in August following the end of his contract with French Ligue 1 side Toulouse.

Max Gradel arrived in Turkey last August and will play for Sivasspor in the Super League this season. The Ivorian striker seems very excited for his new adventure.

While waiting for the 2020-2021 sports start in the Super League scheduled for September 12, Gradel reveals its ambitions with its new team

“I am here to give my best. Let the supporters come and see me on the pitch and they’ll find out what I’m capable of. I came on a mission to this club. I came to score goals, develop quick attacks, create a good atmosphere in the stadium. In any case, I hope for a very good season with many goals scored ” , said Max Alain Gradel during an interview relayed by Fratmat.info.

Coveted by other European clubs, the former Toulouse striker chose Turkey for specific reasons. Gradel says he was motivated by his compatriot Arouna Koné who is now his new teammate.

“I met Didier Drogba before coming here. I also took advice from Arouna Koné, He said that there was a family atmosphere within the team. I also heard good things from Zokora. I have a lot of friends who have played here in the past. I still have some who are pursuing their careers in Turkey, ” added Max Gradel.
