African players abroad Crystal Palace : Queens Park Rangers Got The Right Money For Eze’s Transfer

Mark Warburton has indicated that the transfer of Eberechi Eze to Crystal Palace was a good operation. Queens Park Rangers manager has insisted that the midfielder’s move was a good decision for all parties involved.

The Hoops have been facing uncertain economic times due to the coronavirus pandemic. They thus agreed to sell their Player of the Season to the Eagles about a week ago. The transaction was for £19.5 million if performance-related variables are included.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has finally committed his future to Crystal Palace for the next five seasons. The contract runs until the summer of 2025.

When any player moves at any level, it’s got to represent value for all parties.” Warburton said on talkSPORT.

It has to be the right move for the player of course. It has to be good for the selling club. In general it has to be the right value. QPR were very clear on what they wanted. And they got the right money. Everyone is happy moving forward.” He continued.

Eze made 112 appearances spread across three years. He scored 20 goals during his time with Queens Park Rangers.
