Mercy Tagoe, Ghana Black Queens coach has expressed her disappointment following the postponement of all competitions which severely affect her players’ shape.

Talking to Citisportsonline, Mercy Tagoe said the changes that competitions suffered has had a bad effect on her players. Especially the postponement of African Women’s Cup Of Nations (AWCON) which was scheduled to be played from November to December 2020.

“We were all disappointed because we started very well, thinking that we were going to continue,” Merci Tagoe said.

“For women, when we are out of activity for a long time, we start bloating and that is exactly what is happening now,” she added.

“Looking at the situation we are finding ourselves in, it is a matter of trying to keep fit for future tournaments.

“For now the girls are disappointed and I have been encouraging them.” The 46-years-old concluded.
