Joshua Cheptegei will probably do it again. A few weeks ago, the Ugandan announced he will try to break the 10,000m world record in his next race.
A few weeks ago, Cheptegei achieved better performance becoming the new 5,000m world record holder. In Monaco, he cleaned 12 min 37s 35 by Kenenisa Bekele, 16 years ago from the tablets.
Once again, the Ugandan attacks the Ethiopian. Because the 10 km record (26min 20s 31) also belongs to Bekele since 26 August 2005 in Brussels.
Watch out for the event on 7 October in Valencia, Spain.
