Nigerian Players abroad Akpeyi Thanks Supporters After Recovering From Concussion

Super Eagles goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has expressed his appreciation to all his supporters for their prayer after he suffered confusion.

Akpeyi collided with Bidvest Wits player in last week Absa Premiership game and suffered a concussion.

The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper was then stretchered out after receiving medical attention on the Pitch.

However, the 34-year old has now recovered and back on his feet again but will no longer be involved in action with two games to end of the season.

Akpeyi in a tweet vowed to come back and thanked his supporters via a tweet.

“To pray is to be in constant fellowship with God,and to be sensitive to the spirit.

“I win all the time no matter what.

“I feel so honored by everyone who showed concern and deep love for my recovery,I’m perfect beyond words now.

“God bless you all 🙏💕 #iamamiracle #thegoalstillstands.”

Akpeyi has been impressive for Chiefs since he took the gloves from Khune who went on injury.

He made 25 league appearances for Kaizer Chiefs this season.

Kaiser Chiefs in a statement this week confirmed that Akpeyi will be out of the squad for the remainder of the season.
