Nigeria Abia Warriors Signs Harrison From Dakkada FC On Two-Year Deal

Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) club Abia Warriors FC has completed the signing of Dakkada FC defender, Harrison Ibukun.

The former Nasarawa United player became the sixth signing of Abia Warriors who have been busy in this season transfer window.

The Umuahia based club confirmed that the centre back signed a two-year deal via their official Twitter account.

Harrison is expected to bring his vast experience into play for the COACH Imama Amapakabo tutored side as the team  booster their squad for the challenge ahead of the new season campaign.

Speaking in his first interview as a Warriors player, Harrison who was instrumental for Dakkada FC last season expressed his delight to have joined the club.

He said, “Its a dream come through for me to have completed this move to Abia Warriors from Dakkada FC”

“I have my personal reasons for signing for Abia Warriors which is way beyond the monetary aspect,

Abia Warriors is determined to make a sentence come next season and I want to be counted among the players who turned around the fortune of the club.

“I have heard a whole lot about Abia Warriors, their fans are real, true supporters.

“What they can be sure of is I am going to give everything in every game situation: every play, every build-up.

“I will be trying my absolute best.”

“I had many offers on my table but after much deliberation, I had to pitch my tent with the team because I know I will definitely make a difference in the team” Harrison concluded.

Harrison is the second Dakkada FC player after goalkeeper Vincent Edafe who had earlier joined Abia Warriors.
