Egyptian Premier League Egyptian FA announces sanctions for Zamalek, Al Ahly and Smouha

Egyptian Football Association’s disciplinary committee has reportedly imposed fines on three Egyptian Premier League after recent critics on refereeing.

Egyptian FA has implemented the use of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to help referees in doing well their job. However, some clubs expressed regularly their unhappiness regarding some refereeing decision.

Meantime, EFA has taken measures to help eradicate pressure on match officials during league games.

So, Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour received EGP 100,000 fine while Smouha‘s president Farag Amer has been fined with EGP EGP 50,000.

On the other hand, Al Ahly‘s Marketing Director Adi El Keiy received also EGP 50,000. Reports reliable Egyptian outlet KingFut.
