Super Eagles midfielder Oghenkaro Etebo on Thursday trained with his new club Galatasaray after joining the club on a season loan deal.
Etebo joined Galatasaray from Stoke City cater spending the second stanza of last season on loan with Getafe.
The former Feirense midfielder immediately joined his other teammates to train at the Florya Metin Oktay Facilities ha3wd of their season opener against Gaziantep FK.
All the players available including Etebo had a warm-up session which was followed a special study in the field with the conditioners by Mbaye Diagne.

Emre Akbaba, accompanied by physiotherapists and conditioners, started strength and endurance studies in the hall and advanced adaptation in the field within the scope of a special program prepared for him according to a statement from the club.
“The training at Florya Metin Oktay Facilities started with warm-up movements.
“Later, a tactical study was carried out under the direction of our coach Fatih Terim at the Jupp Derwall Training Field.
“The training was completed after the regeneration run and cooling movements.
“Our new transfer Oghenekaro Peter Etebo joined the team in the first part of the training session.
“After working with the team in the first part of the training, Mbaye Diagne did a special study in the field with the conditioners.
“Emre Akbaba, accompanied by physiotherapists and conditioners, started strength and endurance studies in the hall and advanced adaptation in the field within the scope of a special program prepared for him.”
Galatasaray also confirmed that they have an option to sign Etebo on a permanent deal.
The club in a statement on its official website also revealed that former Warri Wolves midfielder will be paid 1.200.000 Euro.
“Galatasaray Sportif A. Ş. reported to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that professional football player Oghenekaro Peter Etebo has been agreed on temporary transfer until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
“Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş.’s statement to the Public Disclosure Platform is as follows:
“Professional football player Oghenekaro Peter Etebo and Stoke City Football Club Limited have reached an agreement on the temporary transfer of the player until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
” Accordingly, a temporary transfer fee of 675,000 Euros will be paid to the football club.”
“According to the agreement made, our company has the option to purchase the player for a transfer fee of 7.500.000 € during the lease period.
“The player will be paid a net 1.200.000 Euro fixed transfer fee.”
In another development Galatasaray president Mustafa Cengiz described Etebo as a player with a warrior nature.
He said he will be instrumental to the club ahead of next season .
