Africa CAF Women’s Champions League : A Candidate Aready For Event Organization

Sigh of relief for the CAF (African Football Confederation). The African authority knows its first candidate for the organization of the 1st Women’s Champions League.

On Thursday, at the end of its Executive Committee meeting, the body announced the call for applications for its competitions until 2023. Among the championships, Women’s Champions League, for its first edition, will take place in the second half of 2021.

And South Africa announces its candidacy. Danny Jordaan, head of the body, says his country will be candidate for this first edition.

The CAF Women’s Champions League will offer additional benefits to national winners. FIFA will also soon launch the Women’s Club Championship, which will further boost local and continental play.” He said on the SAFA website.

The Women’s Champions League will 8 teams together. They will be determined through the zone tournaments.
