Ghana Thomas Partey : “It’s an honor to be Black Stars’ vice-captain”

Thomas Partey officially reacted to his new role as Ghana Black Stars’ vice-captain as Atletico Madrid midfielder feel honored by his homeland.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced the new roles in Black Stars’ team. As Andre Ayew is confirmed captain with Thomas Partey and Richard Ofori vice and 2nd vice-captain.

“It is a great honor to be chosen to play that role on the national team. Thanks to the technical team for making me one of the leaders of our beloved team. We will continue working hard and helping the football of this great nation,” Thomas said in a statement.

Moreover, the 28-year-old congratulated Swansea City star Andre Ayew and Maritzburg’s goalkeeper Richard Ofori and urged to work together.

“Congratulations to my colleagues Andre Ayew and Richard Ofori too. Together we will succeed. May God bless our land Ghana.” Partey added.
