Further to a meeting on Tuesday, 3 members from the Professional Football League (LFP) of Ivory Coast resigned. They are Mamadou Koné, President of SOA, Abackar koné of WAc and Cyrille Domoraud of AFI.

“Our mission has come to an end since the General Assembly on 4 July. This was acknowledged by the Executive Committee considering that it no longer had jurisdiction to rule over matters related to promotions and relegations in various divisions.” Reads a letter.

In addition, the LFP proposes the date of 24 October for the start of the championship. While the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Supercup will take place on 17 October.

We should remind that the three resigned are on listed for the next elections at FIF.
