Egyptian Premier League John Antwi’s brace gave Pyramids victory over Wadi Degla

Pyramids FC were in big trouble before the 27th matchday of Egyptian Premier League. But Ghanaian striker John Antwi delivered White Knights against Wadi Degla on Wednesday.

Pyramids have finally won a game in September. Their last win back to August 29, when they defeated Aswan to 2-1.

However, they lost all their first three games of September. 2-0 against Zamalek, 2-1 against El Gouna and 1-0 against Al Masry last week.

But Ante Cacic’s team claimed their first September win on Wednesday as they downed Wadi Degla thanks to a brace of Ghanaian scorer John Antwi who picked up the man of the match award.

In addition, Pyramids are currently 3rd on league standings with 48 points, same as the second-based club Zamalek. They will take on Haras El Hodoud on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 6 PM for the 28th matchday of Egyptian Premier League.
