Bertrand Traoré is no longer player at Olympique Lyonnais. The Burkinabe winger officially left the Gones on Saturday. He went back to England where he signed up for Aston Villa as announced several weeks ago. The former Chelsea player is back in the Premier League and does not hide his satisfaction.
“I am very happy to join Aston Villa. I am happy to be here. I played with JT (John Terry) at Chelsea, I talked to him. I spoke to the manager, also to the sports director and some of the players I played with – Nakamba and El Ghazi.” He told VillaTV during his first interview before sharing his feelings of returning to the English championship.
“I’m delighted to be back (in England). I’v looked forward to coming back to the Premier League. I also had to follow my own way and gain more experience. And I think it’s the good time to come back. I think I’m coming back as the best player, with more experience. And it’s the right place for me to be back to. That’s fine.”
