Nigerian Players abroad We’ll Correct Our Errors And Return Stronger- Simon Moses

Simon Moses says his team will go back to the drawing board and correct their errors ahead of their next game in the Ligue 1.


Moses scored his first Ligue 1 goal for Nantes as they came from two goals behind to hold St Etiennes 2-2 at Stade de la Beaujoire.


The Super Eagles winger played for the whole duration of the game and inspired his side to share the spoils.


He expressed his disappointment over the outcome of the game in a statement on his official Twitter account.

The winger said it was not the result they expected and they will return stronger.

Nantes trailed just two minutes of play as the visitors took the lead through Adil Aouchiche.


Moses delivered a cross to his teammate, Randal Kolo Muani who scored from the resulting cross.


But the goal was ruled for an offside after gage referee consulted the VARin the 44th minute.


St Etiennes doubled their lead in the 66th minute with Yvann Macon on the scoresheet.


The visitors wee getting ready to run away with the victory when Moses tapped in a square pass from Dennis Appiah in the 71 minutes.


Nantes were inspired by the goal and kept pressurising for an equaliser.


Their effort was rewarded with the equaliser after Andre Girott0 fired a shot that hit the woodwork only for Renaud Emond to tap in the equalizer in the 85th minute.


With the points shared, Nantes now have five points from three games and currently 14th on the league table.
