Africa Soccer South Sudan FA name Jean Sseninde consultant of Women’s Football

Uganda international defender Jean Sseninde has been named by South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) as consultant for Women’s Football.

Sseninde who is currently playing for Wakefield Trinity in the FA Women’s National League South will play a great role in developing Women’s Football in South Sudan. A fight she is already championing in Uganda.

“South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has appointed Jean Sseninde as a Consultant for South Sudan Women’s Football. Mrs. Sseninde will be working to implement SSFA’s four years Women’s Football Strategy Sensitization plan starting in the month of October.” the Football Association wrote on Twitter.

In addition, the 27-year-old has her own Foundation which sponsors Jean Sseninde Women Football Development Tournament annually and aims at discovering and mentoring female soccer talents in her homeland Uganda.
