Nigerian Players abroad Ajayi In Action As Abraham Denies West Brom First Win

Semi Ajayi and his teammates blew away their chances of getting their first Premier League win of the season following a 3-3 draw against Chelsea.


Ajayi once again played throughout the game in his third appearance of the season for the Baggies.


West Bromwich Albion failed to hold on to their first half 3-0 allowing Chelsea to fight back and denied them an outright victory.

The host drew the first blood through Callum Robinson just four minutes into the game.


The striker compounded Chelsea woes as he capitalised on a loose ball from Thiago Silva who made his Premier League debut to score the second goal in the 25th minute.


Kyle Bartley converted Darnell Furlong corner kick to make it 3-0 in the 27th minute.


Chelsea find it difficult to stamp their feet on the game heading to the dreasing room trailing by 3-0.


Frank Lampard half time talk seems to have triggered the needy Chelsea side as Mason Mount pulled one back 10 minutes after the break.


Then Callum Hudson-Odoi gave Chelsea the hope of a possible equalizing as be did a one-two with Kai Havertz to make it 3-2.


Before Tammy Abraham's stoppage time goal in the added minutes saw Chelsea complete a spectacular second half comeback.


It was a fair result for both teams as the draw was enough to move them up.


West Bromwich Albion now their first point of the season while Chelsea moved temporary to sixth .
