Ivory Coast will open the National Stadium in Ebimpe. The Ministry of Sports announced the official inauguration of the country new stadium for 3 October.

As guest of honour, the Head of State himself, Alassane Dramane Ouattara. On the agenda of this event, an exhibition game between the two historic clubs of the country, ASEC and Africa Sport.

The Ivory Coast National Stadium in Ebimpe, a few kilometres from Abidjan, can host 60,000 spectators. It is an Olympic enclosure the country has built in preparation for 2023 AFCON the country will organize.

In addition, a few weeks ago, a test match took place between FC San Pedro and Racing Club to evaluate the lawn and also the lighting system.
