Premier Soccer League Themba Zwane reserves special praise for Pitso Mosimane

Themba Zwane

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Themba Zwane hails his former coach Pitso Mosimane after several seasons spent together as “Jingles” moves to Egyptian Premier League giants Al Ahly.

Pitso Mosimane informed Sundowns officials Wednesday that he is quitting the club, something the club’s chairman Dr Patrice Motsepe in a media release, has approved and supported.

Though it is reported that Pitso could go with Gaston Sirino at Cairo, the Uruguayan centre-forward is yet to react. But Themba Zwane has lauded ” The Real Pitso” for the role he played in his success and that of Mamelodi Sundowns.

“He has played a big role in the team, even to the players, because he [would] always motivate guys and always want guys who work hard,” ‘Mshishi’ told South African Football Journalists’ Association on Tuesday, per Kickoff.

“He would give you the mentality that he has, which is of always [being] on your toes, don’t take things for granted – you play one game, you forget about it and focus on the next.

“He has done well for himself and the team, and for the country. And he has played a big role towards myself, to be honest, because he was always on top of me.

“‘Mshishi, you need to create more; Mshishi, you need to score more; Mshishi, you need to make the team play; you need to take care of yourself so that you can avoid injuries…’ He was always on top of me, and I really appreciate working with him.” he added.
