As Al Ahly’s new coach, Pitso Mosimane sent a message to his management before starting this new challenge. The 54 years old South African technician left Mamelodi Sundowns and committed to with Al Ahly.
After proving himself in the Premier Soccer League, he wants to repeat the same performances at the head of the Egyptian side. And in order to achieve his goals and comply with the Cairo National expectations, he asks for time.
“I would like to thank Captain Bibo [President of Al Ahly] and all the members of Al Ahly’s Board of Directors for assigning me the difficult task ahead of me. They showed confidence in me and they believe I can take the team to a higher and a better level. To the Red Devils, I say: give me time and I will take Al Ahly to the next level.” He said.
Pitso Mosimane will lead his first meeting on the bench of Al Ahly against Arab Contractors this Sunday in the championship.
